September 16, 2025Announcing our latest breakthrough in 3D world generation with larger, more detailed environments and improved fidelity.
Generating Bigger and Better Worlds
Today we're sharing an update on our quest to push the frontier of spatial intelligence and generate persistent, navigable, and controllable 3D worlds. We are also introducing Marble, a limited access beta preview of our model today at marble.worldlabs.ai, where users can view and create 3D worlds.
Given an image or text prompt, our model generates a 3D world that you can explore for as long as you wish — no time limits, no morphing, no inconsistency. Compared to our previous results, our generated worlds are bigger, more stylistically diverse, and have cleaner 3D geometry.
Marble makes our model available for users to start viewing and building worlds today. Enthusiasts and builders can export generated worlds as Gaussian splats and use them in downstream projects. This is particularly easy to do with our open‑source rendering library Spark which seamlessly integrates Gaussian splats into Three.js for building web‑based 3D experiences, and renders efficiently on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and VR headsets.
Our model's consistency and style adherence now make it possible to build out large worlds by composing individual generations, as shown in the banner video above and the examples at the end of this post.
Better geometry
World Labs provides a solution by creating a splat navigable 3D stage so that I can plan a shoot in a coherent and consistent 3D set like a filmmaker.

I created a world with two different photos from a trip, and then one of your pre-loaded images. Fun to zoom in and out, discover unexpected underbelly of the images.

The ability to navigate and interact with a consistent 3D world lies at the heart of many workflows and use cases for visual creators. Our generated 3D worlds allow for free viewpoint navigation, in the user's browser, at zero cost. In contrast to the limited 3D experience provided by depth maps or point clouds, our worlds have richer geometric complexity and produce more complete 3D worlds, allowing users to look behind and beyond what is visible in the input view.
Our current model is designed to create 3D environments rather than focusing on isolated or central objects, such as people or animals. Sorry to disappoint selfie enthusiasts or loving pet owners — for now.
More diverse styles
What impresses me most about World Labs is its versatility. Being able to generate hyper-realistic environments just as easily as stylized cartoon or anime worlds opens up an incredible range of creative possibilities.
— User B. N.
One of the most exciting aspects of working with generative AI is the ability to freely iterate over look and feel as part of the creative process. Our model can lift inputs of many varying styles into 3D, from flat and colorful cartoons to realistic and richly detailed imagery, allowing for exploration and iteration to find just the right world for the job.
A glimpse of bigger scenes
Getting persistent 3D geometry at scale is a really really hard problem. Having a model that just focuses on that will be central to a lot of workflows (anything needing composition, stitching, large memory, ability to edit / stack persistently etc.)
— User M. C.
Room-sized worlds are a great start, but creators' imagination often extends beyond these boundaries. We want to share a glimpse of what's possible as users compose their generated spaces together to build out much larger environments. Given the stylistic coherence and geometric consistency achieved by our model, it's already fun to be able to navigate, browse, and imagine many use cases for larger worlds like those shown here.
An invitation
We are still in the early days of this journey. What truly excites us is when our users let us know how Marble can supercharge their creativity and productivity by providing the power of world‑building at their fingertips. Some of our early users are already giving us encouraging feedback, and we're eager to hear from more of you as we continue to improve our technology and product.
What used to take weeks and months, I can now do in minutes, and have full control of being in a 3d space.
— User E. T.
[...] integrating Marble's Image to 3D World (spz, ply) results into my project for games and interactive content. Currently doing manual spz setup, but once their API opens up, we could have seamless world generation! Pretty radical experiment right now 🚀
— User S. N.
I am a VR filmmaker in Unreal Engine so I really wanna use this for storytelling and interactive experiences 🙂
— User E. J.
My head went straight to commercial use cases - lots of fun ideas
— User J. L.
We invite you to explore worlds on Marble, and sign up to build your own worlds.
Last but not least: if you're excited to help us advance this vision, join us!
