World Labs Privacy Policy

The following document goes into effect on November 12, 2025. Continued use of the Services on or after that date signifies your acknowledgement and acceptance of the changes.

Welcome to World Labs!

Before accessing or using our Services, please read the following Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy" or "Policy"). This Policy is designed to help you understand what personal information we collect and how we use and share that information.

This Policy applies to Personal Information we collect, use, or disclose when you access and use: (i) our Sites; or (ii) Services, including our spatial intelligence AI technology and Large World Models ("LWMs") that perceive, generate, and interact with 3D worlds, and any related applications, APIs, or integrated platforms. Throughout this Policy we'll refer to ourselves as "we," "us", "our", or "World Labs". Depending on how you are using our Services, we may refer to you as "you", "your", "yours", "User", or "Visitor". Moreover, when interpreting this Policy, note that the words "include", "includes", and "including" are deemed to be followed by the words "without limitation". Similarly, the word "or" is not exclusive, and the words "herein", "hereof", "hereto", and "hereunder" refer to this Privacy Policy as a whole.

Capitalized terms not herein defined will have the meanings as provided in the Terms of Service.

By using or accessing our Sites and Services, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Policy. This Policy is also effective as of the "Last Updated" date above.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1. Information you provide us.

We may collect information directly from you when you create an Account, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. The categories of information we collect may include:

  • Account Information: When you create an Account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, password, billing information, company name and details (for business accounts), professional role, Account preferences, and other such information as needed to create and maintain your Account.
  • Content: We collect information contained in User Submitted Content you provide, including text, images, videos, 3D models, spatial data, and geospatial information, including images or videos capturing images and likenesses, if those are provided. Our Services may derive spatial measurements from visual content for 3D world generation and spatial intelligence processing.
  • Communications: When you contact us, we collect the information you provide in your communications.
  • Voluntary: We may also collect any other information you choose to provide.

1.2. Information we collect automatically.

We automatically collect certain categories of information to provide and improve our Services:

  • Internet Activity Information: We automatically collect information about how you access our Sites or Services, including device and network data (hardware model, operating system, mobile network, IP address, device identifiers, browser type) to improve our Services and develop new features.
  • Usage Data: As a Visitor or User, we may collect Usage Data, such as information about your use of our Sites and Services, including pages visited, features used, time and duration of activities, geographic location, AI Model interactions, generation requests, spatial processing activities, performance metrics, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser information, operating system, proxy server, plug-ins, integrations; internet service provider, mobile carrier, device information and features, search terms, referring website, app or ad, or pages visited, using cookies, log files, web beacons, and similar technologies. We may also receive Usage Data concerning the time and frequency of your use of the Sites and when you view or interact with the Sites. See Section 3 for details on cookies and similar technologies.

1.3. Derived information.

We may derive information and draw inferences based on collected information, including approximate location from IP address, usage patterns from Service interactions, spatial intelligence insights from 3D content analysis, and behavioral patterns related to creative workflows and AI Model usage.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

How we use your Personal Information depends on the type of User you are, the Personal Information you provide to us, which Services you use, as well as how you use them. You acknowledge that by providing Personal Information to us, you consent to these uses and accept responsibility for ensuring you have the right to provide such information. We use Personal Information in the following ways:

  • Service delivery: We use Personal Information to provide and maintain our Sites and Services, including processing your requests and transactions. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of all information you provide.
  • Communications: We use Personal Information to communicate with you about World Labs and our Sites or Services, including responding to your questions, informing you of price or Services changes, sending marketing and promotional communications, and sending other transactional or relationship messages. You cannot opt out of transactional communications.
  • Research and development: We use Personal Information to monitor and analyze Site and Service trends, usage, and activities; improve our Sites and Services; develop new products and services; generate aggregated or de-identified data; and train, test, and enhance our AI Models and related technology. This includes using your User Submitted Content for model training, benchmarking, and technology development as described in our Terms of Service. You may opt out of AI Model training via the mechanisms described in our Terms of Service.
  • Legal compliance: We may use Personal Information to comply with Applicable Laws, regulations, and legal processes.
  • Trust & Safety: We may use Personal Information to detect, investigate, and help prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, help protect the rights and property of World Labs and others, and comply with our related legal and financial obligations.
  • Marketing: We use Personal Information for marketing of our Services, including sending promotional communications about new features, industry insights, product updates, and other commercial communications to support our business operations.
  • Notice & Consent: We may also use information in other circumstances after giving you notice and/or getting your consent.

3. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

We use Cookies and Usage Data to analyze trends, improve our Services, track aggregated usage patterns for AI Model enhancement, and optimize AI Model performance. We create user profiles based on legitimate interests for service improvement and personalization, subject to your data protection rights. By using our Services, you consent to our use of cookies as described herein.

We engage third-party analytics and advertising providers who collect information about your use of our Services through cookies and similar technologies. These entities use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Sites and Services, including your IP address, web browser and mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and links clicked, and use that information to deliver advertising targeted to your interests on other companies' websites and apps, understand the effectiveness of this advertising, and better understand your activity on the Site and Services. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies. You can also learn more about interest-based ads, or opt out of having your web browsing information used for behavioral advertising purposes by companies that participate in the Digital Advertising Alliance, by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.

4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

If, when, and where we disclose your Personal Information depends on a number of considerations, such as the type of user you are, the Personal Information you provide to us, which Services you use, how you use them, or the business purpose for the disclosure. In general, we disclose Personal Information in the following ways, in addition to those noted above:

  • Service providers: We may disclose information to vendors, service providers, contractors and consultants that need this information to provide services to us, such as companies that assist us with web hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, customer service, data enrichment, analytics, marketing and advertising, cloud AI/ML support, AI Model training, 3D rendering, spatial data processing, and AI Model optimization.
  • Business transfers: We share Personal Information in connection with any merger, acquisition, sale of assets, financing, reorganization, or other business transaction. You acknowledge that such transfers are a normal part of business operations.
  • Legal: We share Personal Information when required by law, in response to legal process, to protect our rights and property, to ensure user safety, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or illegal activity.
  • Third-party integrations: Our Services may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
  • Marketing & Advertisers: We share information with third-parties for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes to support our business operations and commercial activities. This includes sharing with advertising partners, marketing platforms, and analytics providers.
  • Trust & Safety: We share your information with third-parties to detect harmful content, prevent abuse, ensure Service safety, and comply with legal requirements. This includes sharing with content moderation services, security providers, and law enforcement when appropriate.
  • Affiliates: We reserve the right to disclose information between and among World Labs and any current or future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and other companies under common control and ownership.
  • Consent: We may share your Personal Information with third-parties if and where we have your consent to do so.

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain Personal Information for the greater of as long as necessary to provide the Services, to comply with our contractual or other legal obligations, or for our legitimate business purposes, including AI Model improvement. User Submitted Content used for AI training may be retained longer to maintain AI Model integrity, subject to your rights under Applicable Law or the TOS.

6. YOUR CHOICES

You have certain choices regarding your Personal Information, subject to our operational requirements and Applicable Law. These choices include:

  • Account: You can update account information through your account settings. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information.
  • Communication preferences: You can opt out of marketing communications by: (i) clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email; (ii) updating preferences in your account settings; or (iii) contacting support@worldlabs.ai. You cannot opt out of transactional, operational, legal, or service-related communications ("Transactional Communications"). For behavioral advertising opt-outs, visit www.aboutads.info/choices or adjust browser settings. Note that opting out of marketing communications may limit your awareness of new features and services.
  • Blocking cookies: You can control cookies through browser settings, though essential cookies are required for Service functionality. Blocking cookies may significantly impact your ability to use our Services.
  • Choose not to share Personal Information: We may require certain Personal Information by law or to provide Services. If you do not provide required information or request its deletion, we may not be able to provide you Services and you would need to close your account. We will tell you what information you must provide to receive the Services by designating it as required in the Service or through other appropriate means.
  • DNT Signal: We treat the data of everyone who comes to our Sites in accordance with this Privacy Policy, whatever their Do Not Track setting.

7. SECURITY MEASURES

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We implement and maintain Security Measures appropriate to our legal obligations and technical capabilities. No security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge the inherent risks in transmitting information over the internet and using AI services.

Included as provided for in the Terms of Service, you are responsible for: (i) maintaining the security of your account credentials; (ii) ensuring the accuracy and legality of all Content you provide; (iii) understanding and accepting the risks of providing personal information to AI services; (iv) your compliance with all Applicable Laws when using our Sites or Services; (v) promptly notifying us of security concerns; and (vi) making informed decisions about what information to share with our Services.

8. NO CHILDREN UNDER AGE 18

Our Services are not intended for and may not be used by anyone under 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not (non-exhaustive list): use our Services or provide any information to us; register accounts; upload files; use interactive features; provide personal information such as your name, address, phone number, or email; or interact with World Labs in any way.

If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 18, please contact us (see Contact Us below).

9. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER

World Labs is headquartered in the United States and operates globally through service providers in various countries. Your Personal Information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. You acknowledge and accept these transfer risks. By using our Services, you consent to international transfers of your Personal Information.

10. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

World Labs may revise this Policy at any time in our sole discretion. Changes become effective immediately upon posting unless otherwise specified. For changes that materially expand our data collection or use, we will provide advance notice as required by law. You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Policy for updates. Accessing or using the Sites or Services after a change has been made signifies your acceptance of such change.

We may update our data practices to comply with new or changing legal requirements in the AI and privacy regulatory landscape. Such updates will be reflected in Policy revisions and communicated as required by law, subject to our operational capabilities and business requirements.

11. ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES

11.1. AI Training Data Sources.

In addition to User Submitted Content, we may train our AI Models using publicly available data, licensed datasets, and synthetic data to improve our Services. We implement commercially reasonable measures to respect intellectual property and privacy rights in training data, subject to our technical capabilities and business requirements.

11.2. Performance Analytics & Optimization.

We collect AI performance data including processing data, accuracy metrics, user interaction patterns, and system optimization data to improve our Services and develop new products, services, and features.

11.3. Research & Academic Use.

We may collaborate with academic institutions and researchers to advance AI technology and our business interests. Such collaborations typically involve de-identified or aggregated data. We may seek specific consent for research participation where required by law.

11.4. Service Discontinuation.

If accounts are closed or Services are discontinued, data retention and deletion will be governed by our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy. You remain responsible for any outstanding obligations, and we may retain certain information as permitted by law and our legitimate business interests.

11.5. Cross-Border AI Compliance.

Processing may be subject to additional AI governance requirements based on your location and the nature of our Services. You are responsible for ensuring your use of our Services complies with applicable AI regulations in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to the EU AI Act, emerging US federal AI requirements, and state-level AI governance frameworks.

11.6. AI Output Ownership & Privacy.

AI-generated content created from your inputs may incorporate elements of your Personal Information. Ownership of outputs is subject to our Terms of Service. AI outputs may not be subject to the same privacy protections due to the transformative nature of AI processing. Furthermore, Outputs generated by our AI Models may incorporate elements from various sources. While we implement measures to prevent reproduction of Personal Information in generated Outputs, you should not include (and otherwise do so at your risk) sensitive personal information in prompts or other User Submitted Content in our Services.

12. DEFINITIONS

The following terms have specific meanings when used in this Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meanings set forth in our Terms of Service.

12.1. "Applicable Law"

means all data protection laws and regulations applicable to a Party's Processing of Personal Information or Personal Data under this Privacy Policy.

12.2. "AI Models"

means the artificial intelligence models developed by World Labs, including Large World Models (LWMs) and related spatial intelligence technologies that process, generate, and interact with 3D worlds and spatial data.

12.3. "Personal Data"

means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an identified or identifiable natural person or particular household.

12.4. "Personal Information"

means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with you or your household.

12.5. "Security Measures"

means appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Information and the Services against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction, and other security threats.

12.6. "Services"

has the meaning set forth in our Terms of Service.

12.7. "Sites"

has the meaning set forth in our Terms of Service.

12.8. "System"

has the meaning set forth in our Terms of Service.

12.9. "Usage Data"

means information about how you use our Sites and Services, including pages visited, features used, activity patterns, AI Model interactions, performance metrics, and technical data collected through cookies, log files, and similar technologies.

12.10. "User"

has the meaning set forth in our Terms of Service.

12.11. "User Submitted Content"

has the meaning set forth in our Terms of Service.

12.12. "Visitor"

means anyone who accesses our Sites without necessarily creating an Account or using our Services.

12.13. "World Labs Products"

has the meaning set forth in our Terms of Service.
