World Labs Acquires SceniX

Today, we're excited to announce that SceniX, a robotics company, is joining World Labs.

From the beginning, our ambition has been to advance spatial intelligence: systems that perceive, generate, reason, and interact with both virtual and physical worlds. Robotics is where spatial intelligence becomes physical. A robot must perceive the space around it, understand how objects move and interact, anticipate the consequences of its actions, and act reliably.

There has been tremendous progress in robotic learning in the past few years, compounding some of the most breathtaking advances in large language models. We are excited by the unlimited opportunities robotics will bring to our society, from empowering productivity to ensuring human wellbeing.

We believe the next breakthroughs in robotics will come from bringing together advances in spatial intelligence, world models, learning-based simulation, and a closed loop with real-world learning. We are excited to welcome SceniX into World Labs, and see our complementary technical strengths enabling many use cases.
